BIhar CM Nitish Kumar on Sex: The statement made by Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the state assembly has sparked controversy. He commented on the issue of population control in the context of married couples and their physical relationships, which has led to a heated debate.
The BJP has criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his words. A video of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar making the statement has gone viral on social media. In the video, he is heard saying, “When a marriage happens between a boy and a girl, the man does what he has to do… that’s how children are born, and if the girl studies, it’s fine, but… he does what he has to do. Understand that the population is decreasing. There is a decline in it…”
The Bihar BJP has strongly criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his comments. They have posted an official statement on their social media handles, saying, “In Indian politics, a leader like Nitish Babu has never been seen. Nitish Babu seems to be obsessed with ‘B’ Grade adult movies. Restrictions should be imposed on his double-meaning dialogues in public. It seems like Sangat’s influence has taken over him!”
BJP leader Nikhil Anand also targeted the Chief Minister by sharing the video. He wrote, “Bihar’s CM is on the decline of age, and his mind-body-heart balance is not being maintained. In his stubbornness, Nitish Ji is pushing Bihar into a hellish pit. The ruling party is laughing at the Chief Minister’s language in the assembly. In the intoxication of power, they have no shame.”
Some BJP women legislators have demanded that Chief Minister’s comments be condemned, including Aruna Devi, Nikki Hembrom, and Gayatri Devi.
Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav suggested that Chief Minister’s statement should be taken as sex education. He said, “If someone interprets it incorrectly, it’s wrong. What the Chief Minister said about sex education, whenever the topic of sex education is discussed, people feel embarrassed and hesitate, so people should save others from it.”
He further stated, “Now sex education is taught in schools, science, biology, all these subjects are taught in schools, children study. We believe that if the topic of sex education came up, what (Chief Minister Nitish) meant to say is what to do to control the population, that’s what he practically said. People should not take it in the wrong way, but it should be taken more as sex education.”
