Early Life of Dawood Ibrahim
Dawood Ibrahim belongs to a Konkani Muslim family. He was born on December 26, 1955, in the village of Khed in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra.
His father, Ibrahim Kaskar, served as a Head Constable in the Mumbai Police. His mother, Ameena Bee, was a homemaker. Dawood Ibrahim had brothers and four sisters.
Dawood Ibrahim’s Siblings
His youngest brother was Humayun Kaskar, who passed away due to cancer. His other five brothers were Anis Ibrahim, Iqbal Kaskar, Mustakeem Ali Kaskar, Zaitoon Antule, and Noor Kaskar.
Dawood Ibrahim’s brother, Noor Kaskar, was abducted by the Sardar Rahman Gang in Mumbai, demanding over 200 crores from Dawood in exchange. However, Dawood failed to fulfill this demand.
As a result, in 2009, the Rahman Gang killed Noor and sent his body to Dawood’s residence in Karachi.
His other brothers currently reside in different locations such as Mumbai, Dubai, and Karachi. Among them, Iqbal Kaskar has been arrested multiple times by the police.
Regarding Dawood Ibrahim’s sisters, he had four: Hasina Parkar, Farzana Tungekar, Mumtaz Sheikh, and Shaida Parkar.
Two of his sisters, Farzana Tungekar and Hasina Parkar, have passed away. After Dawood fled India, Hasina Parkar’s husband, Ibrahim Parkar, managed Dawood’s business here.
However, Dawood remained a target for many gang members. The Gawli Gang killed his sisters. After that, Hasina Parkar managed her brother’s business. Yet, she too passed away due to a heart attack a few years later.

Media coined Dawood Ibrahim’s gang as “D Company,” recognized as one of South Asia’s largest criminal enterprises, dealing in drugs, arms, gold smuggling, real estate racketeering, extortion, and terrorist activities.

The enterprise orchestrates an array of criminal activities. Notably, Dawood was involved in cricket match-fixing and betting, even captured sitting at Mumbai’s cricket stadium in 1985.
