Chandrababu Naidu Oath Ceremony: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Ministers JP Nadda and Bandi Sanjay Kumar along with many other leaders are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Amit Shah and JP Nadda reached Hyderabad on Tuesday evening to attend the ceremony.
Earlier on Tuesday, TDP and NDA MLAs elected Naidu as their leader. After this, following the request of NDA leaders, Governor S Abdul Nazir on Tuesday invited Naidu to form the government. Later Naidu met Nazir at the Raj Bhavan here.
Pawan Kalyan is set to become Deputy CM
Chandrababu Naidu will take oath at 11.27 am near Medha IT Park opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarpalli on the outskirts of Vijayawada. Other leaders are also likely to take oath along with Naidu, including Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and its senior leader N. Manohar, Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh and TDP Andhra Pradesh leader Achen Naidu may join. Pawan Kalyan is considered certain to become the deputy CM.
There are 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. According to this, there can be 26 ministers in the cabinet including the CM. However, 25 ministers including Naidu are likely to take oath. Naidu became an MLA for the first time at the age of 28. He became a minister at the age of 30. He became CM for the first time at the age of 45 and now he is going to become CM for the fourth time at the age of 74.
