NDA Cabinet: A new government has been formed in India and after the first cabinet meeting of the NDA government, some major decisions have also been announced. The new ministers have also taken charge of their ministries and are now moving forward towards taking forward the 100-day agenda of the government.
According to the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR), an organization working towards electoral reforms in the country, out of 71 members of the new cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 70 i.e. 99 percent are crorepatis and their average assets are Rs 107.94 crore. ADR said that there are six ministers among them who have property worth more than Rs 100 crore. ADR has made this assessment on the basis of declaration of their assets by the ministers.

About 99 percent of the new ministers are crorepatis. Out of the 71 ministers analyzed, 70 have declared assets in the crorepati category. The report providing financial details of these ministers indicates that the average wealth among them is Rs 107.94 crore.
These ministers are the richest – owners of more than Rs 5700 crore
Minister of State in the Ministry of Rural Development and Ministry of Communications, Dr Chandrashekhar Pemmasani tops the list with total assets of Rs 5705.47 crore. His assets include movable assets worth Rs 5598.65 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 106.82 crore.
Jyotiraditya Scindia has wealth of Rs 425 crore
Communications Minister and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M Scindia has declared total assets worth Rs 424.75 crore. His property details include movable assets worth Rs 62.57 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 362.17 crore.
HD Kumaraswamy has total assets worth Rs 217.23 crore
Heavy Industries Minister and Steel Minister of Janata Dal (Secular) HD Kumaraswamy has total assets worth Rs 217.23 crore. His assets include movable assets worth Rs 102.24 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 115.00 crore.
Ashwini Vaishnav has assets worth Rs 144.12 crore
Railway Minister, Information and Broadcasting Minister and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has declared total assets worth Rs 144.12 crore, which includes movable assets worth Rs 142.40 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 1.72 crore.
Rao Indrajit Singh has total assets worth Rs 121.54 crore
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Statistics and Program Implementation, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Planning and Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture Rao Indrajit Singh has total assets worth Rs 121.54 crore. His assets include movable assets worth Rs 39.31 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 82.23 crore.
Piyush Goyal has assets worth more than Rs 110.95 crore
Another BJP minister from North Mumbai, Maharashtra and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has declared assets worth Rs 110.95 crore. This includes movable assets worth Rs 89.87 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 21.09 crore.
