Bangladesh Crisis: Samajwadi Party’s national president and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav has reacted to the Bangladesh issue. In a long post on social media site X, the statement issued by Akhilesh without naming any country is being interpreted in many ways. The SP chief, in his post, taking reference of global history, has also given ‘advice’ to the Indian government while commenting on the recent situation in Bangladesh in gestures.
The SP chief wrote – World history is witness that in various countries, violent mass revolutions, military coups, anti-government movements have been taking place against the government, for right or wrong reasons, on the basis of the test of that time. In such a situation, only that country has been revived, whose society, even in that turbulent time of powerlessness, has protected the lives, property and honour of its citizens by considering everyone equal and protecting them with a positive and big thinking, without discriminating on the basis of birth, religion, ideology, majority or minority of numbers or any other political animosity or negative, narrow thinking.
Akhilesh wrote – It is the duty of every country to protect the country and its citizens. On the basis of positive human thinking, it is also the human responsibility of every civilized society to protect every resident and neighbor as an individual, no matter where he is in any time, place or situation.
The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh wrote – One thing to be specially underlined is that history also teaches that the power that uses the political conditions of another country to fulfill its political designs in its own country, weakens the country at both internal and external levels.
‘The government which remains a mute spectator in such a situation…’
Akhilesh wrote- Sometimes, interference at a single level by any other country, which is affected by the internal matters of a country, is not considered appropriate on global diplomatic standards, but in such a situation, for the all-round protection of that affected country and its culturally related people, that country should activate its silent foreign policy and take courageous and positive vocal initiatives in collaboration with the world community, so that meaningful solutions can be found.
The SP leader wrote without naming anyone- The government which remains a mute spectator in such a situation, should believe that it is the failure of its foreign policy that the conditions in the countries near it in all directions are neither normal nor favorable for it. This means that from the ‘geo-political’ point of view, there has been a big mistake in its foreign policy. Only by binding a large geographical area with the thread of cultural-neutrality and mutual understanding and brotherhood, peace can be brought in various troubled land blocks of the world.
The SP chief wrote – Harmony and peace born from positive thinking is the path to human prosperity.
