Srishti Goswami, a student hailing from the village of Daulatpur in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, is making waves with her remarkable achievements. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from BSM PG College, Roorkee, Srishti is the daughter of Praveen Goswami, a businessman, and Sudha Goswami, a homemaker.

The Family Background of Srishti Goswami

Born into a modest family, Srishti has always been deeply connected to her studies, consistently demonstrating excellence in academics. Her father runs a small shop to support the family, while her mother is involved in Anganwadi activities, focusing on community welfare.

Srishti’s family radiates joy and eagerly anticipates the day when their daughter will ascend to the position of Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Empowering Girls on National Girl Child Day

As National Girl Child Day approaches on January 24th, the Uttarakhand government’s initiative to empower girls like Srishti is commendable.

Representing India in Thailand

In addition to her academic pursuits, Srishti has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at the development of girls. Every three years, the government of Uttarakhand organizes a Girls’ Science Congress, coinciding with National Girl Child Day. Srishti is slated to represent Uttarakhand at this year’s congress, showcasing her dedication to girls’ empowerment.

Moreover, since 2018, Srishti has assumed the role of Chief Minister in the Children’s Assembly, a platform established by the voluntary organization Bhuvaneshwari Ashram and the State Child Protection Society. The primary objective of this assembly is to nurture leadership qualities among children.

In 2019, Srishti represented India at the Girls International Leadership Summit held in Thailand, adding another feather to her cap.
