In exchange for his services, Rani Kamalapati promised Mohammad Khan a handsome reward of one lakh rupees upon the successful execution of her plan.

Rani Kamalapati bestowed a portion of Bhopal’s territory upon Mohammad Khan out of gratitude. Despite the passing of her son, Naval Shah, Rani Kamalapati continued to live for several years. Upon her demise, the reins of Bhopal fell entirely into Mohammad Khan’s hands.
The Renaming of Habibganj Railway Station in Honor of Rani Kamalapati
Madhya Pradesh, often referred to as the heart of India, witnessed a significant decision by the government to rename the city of Habibganj Railway Station. Approval from the Ministry of Railways under Shivraj Raj Singh Chouhan’s proposal facilitated this change. The renaming of Habibganj Railway Station to Rani Kamalapati Railway Station occurred swiftly following the approval. Notably, the station’s code was also altered to RKMP.
