In an interview given to UP Tak, Imran Masood was asked whether Chandrashekhar Azad supported him in the elections? To this, the Congress MP said, “Yes, he is my brother… he has always been with me, will always be with me, Inshallah his is mine.” When the reporter further asked that they are not seen together these days. He recently said that the Congress people did very well. Imran Masood said, “Look, I have talked about Chandrashekhar. I did not talk about Azad Samaj Party and Congress.”
The reporter further asked that does that mean Chandrashekhar will not join Congress? On this, Masood called Chandrashekhar his younger brother and said, “I am a Congress party MP. I will stay with the party. It is his decision what he will do, but as far as Chandrashekhar is concerned, Chandrashekhar is my younger brother. He will always be with me.”
