Mohan Bhagwat News: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said in a program in Jharkhand that ‘Man wants to become Superman but does not stop there, he feels that he should become a deity…’
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat: A statement by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has become a political weapon of the Congress. In a program on Thursday, Bhagwat had taunted man’s desire to become ‘Superman’ and ‘God’. Bhagwat said that ‘Man wants to become Superman… wants to become a deity… but there is no humanity, there is no humanity…’ Bhagwat said this during a village level worker dialogue program in Bishnupur, Jharkhand.
Congress jumped on this statement of Bhagwat. The party claimed that Bhagwat’s statement is directly aimed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Calling the statement a ‘Bhagwat bomb’ and ‘Agni missile’, Congress furthered the attack on ‘non-biological PM’. Sharing Bhagwat’s video, Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh wrote on X, ‘I am sure the self-proclaimed non-biological Prime Minister must have got the news of this latest Agni missile, which has been fired from Nagpur targeting Lok Kalyan Marg from Jharkhand.’ Many people associated with opposition parties also made similar sarcasm on social media.
What did Mohan Bhagwat say in Jharkhand?
On Thursday, in Bishnupur, Jharkhand, Bhagwat said, ‘…so far ahead, so far ahead, there is no end to it, where perfection is the limit, there is no string of boundaries… development is such a thing. As far as development is concerned, we went there, after reaching there it is seen that there is more beyond this… but there is no humanity, no humanness… he should first become a real human… after going there he feels that he should become a superman from a human, super human… it is shown in films etc… man wants to become supernatural… wants to become superman… wants to become super human… but does not stop there. He feels that he should become a god, he wants to become a deity… but the gods say that God is bigger than us… he wants to become God…’
Bhagwat further said, ‘… God says that I am the form of the universe… right now I am visible to you in one form, but there is a formless form spread in the whole universe, that is the real me. Is there anything there, a place to stop or is there anything beyond that, no one knows. There is no end to development, external development as well as internal development… it is a matter of continuous development. So we all should be a little dissatisfied that we have done so much but this is still left…’
‘Clothes can change but nature will not change’
Bhagwat said that man should work tirelessly for humanity. He also said that a worker should never be satisfied with his work. Bhagwat said, ‘Work should continue, one should try to work continuously in the fields of environment, education and health… There is no end to this and continuous work in different fields is the only solution… We should try to make this world a beautiful place like the nature of India.’
The RSS chief said that Sanatan Dharma believes in the welfare of mankind. He said, ‘Sanatan culture and religion have not come from palaces, but from ashrams and forests. Our clothes may change with changing times but our nature will never change.’ Bhagwat said, ‘To continue our work and services in changing times, we will have to adopt new methods. Those who keep their nature intact are called evolved.’
Bhagwat said, ‘Everyone should work tirelessly for the welfare of the society and those who are really working should speak from the stage while we should sit and listen.’ He also said that the tribals are backward and a lot of work needs to be done for them in the field of education and health.
