What does the High Court have to say
During the hearing on this matter yesterday, i.e. on Monday, the court has indicated that the error in the main exam copy will be removed and if needed, the result will be declared again. In this way, the rank list can be made once again and there is a possibility of changes in the people who have occupied the posts and started working.
A new affidavit should be filed
Indications towards this have been found in the affidavit filed by the Deputy Secretary of the Commission. The court has also said that the information given in the affidavit is not complete, so a new affidavit should be filed afresh. Let us tell you that this petition has been filed by Shravan Pandey, on which the division bench of Justice HD Singh and Justice Anish Kumar Gupta is hearing.
Errors found in the copies
Lawyer Vibhu Rai filed an affidavit in the court on behalf of the Deputy Secretary. It has been accepted in this that there is a mistake in about 50 answer sheets which have got mixed up. The commission is trying to fix it. After removing this mistake, the result can be announced afresh.
The court asked for detailed information
In this regard, the court has clarified that complete information has not been given in the affidavit. First it should be made clear that if the result is released again, how many candidates will be out of the selection list and how many new people will be included in this list.
Along with this, what decision will be taken regarding those who have been appointed and have started working. The court has given instructions to provide all this information. Only after that this issue will be considered.
All 18042 copies will be investigated
Let us tell you that a candidate Shravan Pandey had alleged irregularities in the PCS J examination. When the candidate got his answer sheet through RTI, he saw that some of its pages were torn. After this, the commission decided to get all 18042 copies re-examined. Not only this, action was taken against five officers and employees in the case of changing the copy.
