Kolkata Rape-Murder Case News: No solution reached with the government, strike will continue
The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) announced that its indefinite strike will continue in protest against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. No solution could be reached in the meeting with officials of the Union Health Ministry. Resident doctors of government hospitals across the country went on an indefinite strike on Monday in protest against this gruesome incident that took place at RG Kar Medical College, affecting elective services including OPD and non-emergency surgery. This strike was called by the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA).
