Born on January 30, 1971, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Diya Kumari is the daughter of Maharaja Sawai Singh and Maharani Padmmini Devi of Jaipur’s royal lineage. Her grandfather, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II, was the last ruling Maharaja of Jaipur during the British era. Diya Kumari’s upbringing exuded a royal lifestyle, guided by her grandmother, Gayatri Devi.
