Nitish Government has made preparations to end the disputes related to land and the right land can be given to its rightful owner. Before this survey, many types of questions must be arising in your mind. Some do not have documents related to the land, while some have some other problem. Know the answers to some important questions related to land survey.

Gairmajrua Khas or Malik and Bakasht land holders are nervous that their land will be lost. Will the government take their land in the survey or not?

Experts say that the government will also survey the land of those who have Gair Majroora Khas land and they have ownership rights in the Khatian and they have possession of that land. Such land owners will not face any problem. Their land will remain theirs. The land which was bought from the landlord before 1934 or the land which is still owned by the landlord and is unclaimed will remain with him. However, the Gair Majroora common land which is called government land will be taken away from those who have ownership rights on it. Because it is completely government land.

If someone does not have any papers, will their land be taken away in the survey?

Experts say that the documents of their land will be found. Let us assume that they do not have the papers, but the land owners nearby will have the papers. The name will be in the boundary. On the basis of that paper, the documents of your land will be found. The most important thing in this is whether you have possession of that land or not, if you have possession of the land and that land is yours, then not having the papers is not a big problem.

The dispute over the land is going on in the court, right now it is in someone’s name wrongly, what will happen if a survey is done in the meantime?

The current status of the land and the name in which it is registered will be recorded in the survey, but the surveyor will write that the matter is pending in the court. Whoever has a claim on it, it will also change in the survey after the court’s decision.

The Khatian is in the name of the ancestors, but some people have occupied that land, so can that land be recovered?

A counselling centre is being set up in the block in which many problems will be resolved in the block itself. If your family’s name is registered in the Khatian and you or any of your family members have never sold or donated or transferred the land, then definitely that land will be yours. You will have to fight a bit, you can get the land back by meeting your land collector.

What will happen if the land has been purchased 50-60 years ago, but the mutation has not been done yet?

There is nothing to worry about in this. You can apply for mutation in the block. Your rent will be determined by the land additional collector. Mutation will be done by adding late fine. If you have ownership rights but do not have a receipt, then your land will not be taken away.

If someone does not have the papers, it is lost, or someone else has occupied that land for 50-60 years, will they get their land back in the survey?

The papers have been lost but their ancestor’s name will be in the Khatian. Someone has occupied it, but the Khatian will not take possession. If their ancestor’s name is in the Khatian, then the Khatian and genealogy will have to be prepared and given. If they fight, the government will give them the land. File a case in the court, the court will order to return the land. By the way, the government has also said that no matter how long you have occupied the land, if you do not have ownership rights, then you will be considered an encroacher.
