Sukma, Nov 5 – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is the dawn of ‘Ram Rajya’ in India. This vision entails a society free from caste and religious discrimination, promising equality and welfare for all.
Ram Temple’s Significant Role
He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ during his nine-and-a-half-year tenure. This ancient term signifies the epitome of benevolent governance, characterized by inclusive schemes targeting housing for the underprivileged, sanitation, access to clean water, and health insurance.
Addressing a rally in Konta, a constituency in Chhattisgarh, Adityanath emphasized that the completion of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, expected in January, symbolizes the beginning of ‘Ram Rajya’ across the nation. He underlined that ‘Ram Rajya’ promises a society where no one faces discrimination based on caste or religion. It ensures that government welfare schemes reach every corner of society, including the poor, marginalized, and tribal communities, guaranteeing security, amenities, and equal access to resources for all.
Challenging ‘Love Jihad’ and Religious Conversions
Adityanath did not mince words when criticizing the Congress government led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, accusing it of promoting “love jihad” and religious conversions. He urged the people of Chhattisgarh to embrace the forthcoming completion of the Ram Temple with enthusiasm, as Chhattisgarh holds a special place in the Ramayana as Lord Ram’s maternal home.
Urging for a Government Shift
He did not shy away from asserting that the Congress had been a hindrance in the construction of the Ram Temple and blamed the party for obstructing the temple’s progress. Adityanath expressed his concern about the Congress-led government’s indifference to issues like ‘love jihad’ and religious conversions, suggesting that this was a significant problem that needed to be addressed.
Accusations and Elections in Chhattisgarh
Additionally, Adityanath accused the Baghel government of engaging in corrupt activities in sectors like coal, liquor, mining, and public service commission recruitments. He appealed to the people to consider a shift in government to achieve their dreams for Chhattisgarh.
Konta is among the 20 constituencies participating in the first phase of elections in Chhattisgarh on November 7. In this phase, the BJP has fielded Soyam Muka against Congress MLA and minister Kawasi Lakhma. The campaign for the first phase will conclude on Sunday at 5 pm, with the second phase of polls scheduled for November 17. Results will be declared on December 3.
